On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, we gathered in our Greensburg office to celebrate the career of Christine Volpe. After 27 years of dedication to customer service excellence, Christine is hoping to enjoy a nice long retirement.
After several years of staying at home with her young children, Christine (Chris) attended community college to earn her business degree before joining Total Service, Inc., (TSI) in Latrobe, PA in August of 1995. At TSI, she performed a wide variety of tasks that included: preparing supply orders for delivery to local customers, received supplies, placing orders and service calls, retrieving and recording meter readings, and invoicing.
Chris is a real people person and greatly enjoyed helping customers and co-workers during the years with TSI and later with Doing Better Business (DBB), when TSI was acquired in 2016.
She has certainly been a great asset to our organization, as a valued member of our First Touch Team, and a tremendous support for our customers.
Leesa from Direct Mail Processors commented on Chris' expert handling of her phone call. Joyce from Shop N Save always phones in to let us know how much she appreciates talking and working with Chris.
In retirement, we hope that she will enjoy more time with her husband Joe, who retired a year and a half ago himself, and her children Jennifer and Justin. Baby-sitting their fur-babies may help Chris adjust to her new life as we know the decision to retire has not been an easy one.
Chris has worked with a lot of customers and fellow co-workers, it is obvious that their respect for her has grown over the years. We are sure that everyone will miss her friendly voice and helpful attitude... especially her first touch family.
