SELECT DEALER GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

Posted by Doing Better Business on Aug 24, 2019 2:26:52 PM

On July 1, 2018 the Select Dealer Group (SDG)  appointed Debra Dellaposta as its president. She is the first woman president for the group, which was established in 2003. SDG is an independent peer-to-peer group comprised of office technology dealers who are serious about implementing the ProFinance Model for Success in their dealerships. Because of the collaborative nature of the SDG, membership is limited to one dealer from each market territory. SDG meets three times per year at locations around the country. Meetings are designed to provide the strategies, encouragement and support dealers need as they implement the Model.

“Joining SDG was a game changer for our business and I am humbled to be entrusted as its leader,” Dellaposta said. “This group is passionate, engaged and I return from every meeting with at least three ideas that ultimately add to our bottom line. The relationships I have developed with my peers and with our sponsors, many of whom have become business partners, is immeasurable. Our friendships are not just limited to three meetings per year. We regularly reach out to each other via email and telephone to provide support and new ideas.”

Dellaposta is president and CEO of Doing Better Business Inc., located in Altoona, Pennsylvania. For 25 years, she has considered her role as an agent of change for both her company and customers. Dellaposta’s development of the company’s managed print services program won it national recognition with the MPSA Award in 2010. When she was named president and CEO in 2013, Dellaposta focused on growing the company by empowering every employee and creating a culture of family. Under her leadership, the company earned Fortune Magazine’s “Great Place to Work” and “Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania” rankings. Dellaposta participates in industry leadership roles, serving on the Ricoh National Dealer Council, the GreatAmerica Dealer Council and The Cannata Report’s Editorial Advisory Board. She has been honored as one of the Top 100 Business People of Central Pennsylvania and Women Making A Difference by the Pennsylvania Business Central Magazine several times.
