For the past twenty three years, Doing Better Business (and previously Word Processing Services) has been proudly recognized as an Elite Dealer. ENX Magazine and ENX The Week In Imaging, announced the 2023 list of Elite Dealers in October and complete profiles of the 118 award recipients are featured in the December issue of ENX Magazine.
Debbie, Beth and Joseph Dellaposta couldn't be more proud of the Doing Better Business (DBB) Family as they continue their consecutive string on being named an Elite Dealer by ENX Magazine. The siblings created DBB in 2013 to eventually acquire their parent's business, Word Processing Services in 2017.
"We were not surprised to see the number of Dealers honored this year fall," said Joseph Dellaposta, Chief Operations Officer, "as mergers and acquisitions reached a height in 2022 and have continued into 2023."
DBB continued to make acquisitions in 2023 by picking up Cooper Business Machines in Erie, PA.
"One of the reasons we are an Elite Dealer is the talented people who make up the DBB Family," said Debra Dellaposta, Chief Executive Officer, "and each acquisition has provided us with even more talent enabling us to achieve greater levels of success. We are excited to continue exploring additional acquisitions, as part of our growth strategy."
Beth Dellaposta, Chief Financial Officer, said "We are truly blessed to have our talented team, who treats each other as family, helping us continue to provide customer service excellence to our clients. At the end of the day, we are not in business without our clients and our ability to help them do better business and grow their businesses. This also explains why we put such an emphasis on giving back to our communities. Having healthy and strong communities are what should be most important to all of us."
Doing Better Business, Inc., is headquartered in Altoona, PA and has nine other offices located strategically across Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio. DBB is the largest independently and women owned dealership in the region. DBB is laser focused on customer service excellence and providing the best technology to help their clients do better business, including Managed Print and Document Services, eForms Creation, Electronic Forms Processes, Visual Communication Tools, Dynabooks, Interactive Whiteboards, Wide and Large Format Printing, Label and Badge Printing, Production Printing and Enterprise Fleet Managment.
Why We Consider Doing Better Business Elite:- Service strategy. The dealer restructured its solution sales and formed focus teams to become more specialized and achieve higher levels of certification. Doing Better Business became a Laserfiche service provider to help maintain its high level of customer service excellence.
- Print school. A large county-wide school district chose Doing Better Business for the installation of 144 new devices. The dealer also furnished MPS for an additional 596 units. The deal complemented wins at a community college (197 new units and MPS) and a major university (700 MFPs).
- Fast resolution. Doing Better Business is receiving kudos for its First Touch Team. Qualified personnel field calls and have the knowledge and expertise to resolve client issues in an expedient manner. This cuts down on dispatching techs and phone transfers.
- Worthy causes. Among the fun events sponsored by the dealer are The Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley’s Taste of the Valley, Latrobe’s Banana Split Celebration, Dreams Go On in Pittsburgh, Grapes for Good for the Rotary Club of Altoona, and the Bull and Oyster Roast for the Rotary Club of Hagerstown. Doing Better Business also rotates its annual event in a different community, bringing exposure and tourist dollars to that market.
